Mother's Day - Citrus Celebration!

For Mother's Day, I made my mom this cake:
Has a fantastic lemon curd in the middle, and a yummy lemon syrup.

And the best part is the vanilla bean frosting!
This is a 6 inch tier, but can be made into any size needed.

I love this one. I looked at all your cakes and this one definitely "takes the cake". It is vibrant and fresh and the custard cream sounds delicious. Your mum is lucky. I make cakes too and i'm telling you that this style is a keeper for you. You should try berries, grapes, cherries, figs and mini apples. You have a flare for it. Fruit is your niche.
